Dhaka’s Youth

Now that I have been in Dhaka for three weeks (twenty-one days, for those of you who don’t know the conversion rate from weeks to days), I have seen no less than a lot of people, and with thirty-five percent of the population being under the age of 15, this means that I should have seen approximately a lot of people younger than fifteen. Luckily, I brought my camera along because some of these kids were too cute for words.

One time, my friend lent his camera to the kids of a village to photograph themselves.

Caught this kid smiling at me…

…so I snapped a photo of him posing with his girlfriend.

Some boys perched up on a wall after bathing to come scope us out.

This young fellow stalked us, and a later a goat, around the town.

Turns out, the goat and he were friends the whole time.

One of these children was the king of the village and the other his royal transport.

I let this young man borrow my sunglasses for a bit.

This young crew was all wet when we met them.

We posed with a local soccer-playing group for a team photo.

Tons of children are at play in Dhaka and they love to be photographed. Obviously, the camera loves them as well.
